Healing Retreat in Sedona, Arizona

Sept. 27 - Oct. 1, 2007

Join us for a transformational retreat in the spectacular red rock country of Sedona, Arizona. Considered a natural healing center by the native Americans, healing energies radiate throughout the area in concentrated areas called vortices. We will spend four days and nights connecting with these healing energies through guided meditations, medicine wheel ceremony, and walking gently in communion with the spirit of the land. In this most spiritual of places, learn new ways to reclaim your vital personal power for a healthier, more loving and spiritual existence.

WHY GO TO SEDONA?

BY MAR GORZYCA

"Why go to Sedona?" my family and friends asked me when I signed up for the Sedona retreat last year. My standard response was that it was a North American energy site and that Sarah Weiss was leading a group there. I had studied Subtle Energies with Sarah and had signed up to take a Medical Intuitive class with her in the Fall at the Sophia Center

"You hate the heat, you fry in the sun, you do not know any of these people, and you are currently unemployed!" they continued to point out the obvious. But I felt drawn to go to Sedona.

I had no expectation of what would happen or even what I wanted to happen. I did not know how I would "fit in" since all of this "energy stuff" was new to me. But I knew enough about Sarah to know that I would learn something new in general as well as something new about myself

It "felt" right and I felt drawn to go to Sedona.

"What an incredible experience on many levels!" The landscape was breathtakingly beautiful. The sites we visited were wonderful to see and feel. The vortex energies were truly powerful.

The honor given to the culture and land of the American Indian was a credit to the community of Sedona and a change from the urban/retail sprawl and the non-natural concrete facades of "civilized" society.

In spite of my skepticism, I did connect with the energy at various sites. I was not the only one to experience this. Others in the group also had really marvelous encounters.

The bonds of friendship that developed have remained even a year later...these "strangers" are intimates and soul mates and friends that I do not think I will ever lose. We e-mail, telephone, seminar together even now and the meditative bonds grow in strength and clarity between several of us. The feeling of oneness with the group, with the land and nature, with the past and ultimately the connection to the Universe/to God/to Spirit was subtle and overwhelming simultaneously!

"I had needed to go to Sedona"

I came back home quite a different person with a different perspective and with a very different set of priorities, friends, and energy.

Sedona called and I went...Is Sedona calling you?
